I know I’ve already posted twice about free western NY concerts (once in May and again in June). I have two more free concert series I wanted to share with you before all the dates have passed, one in Niagara Falls and the other in Rochester.
The Hard Rock Cafe on the US side of the falls hosts an outdoor Saturday concert series next to the cafe. This coming Saturday (July 16) is the Psychedelic Furs. The series ends on August 13 with Blood, Sweat and Tears. Check out their website for more info.
I came across the other series while checking out the Rochester Public Market website. On Friday nights in July and August, the Market hosts Night Markets Featuring Bands on the Bricks. This Friday (July 15) is the Lou Gramm (formerly of Foreigner) Band, the Coupe de Villes and Tommy Brunett Band. Next week is Chris Duarte and the series closes with The Sound Remains the Same (August 26), a Led Zeppelin tribute band. I went to one of these concerts a few years ago. It’s a nice venue since it’s relatively small and there’s lots of parking at that time of day.
Enjoy trying to squeeze a few more concerts into your busy summer.
